1. Make sure your tyre pressures are correct. This will save you fuel and will lengthen the life of your tyres. if unsure how to pump your tyres, drive in and one of our friendly staff will be happy to do this for you free of charge.

2. Try and use Bio-Fuels, which are environmentally friendly fuels which wont harm your car. We have E10 unleaded, 10% of this fuel comes from sugar cane. We also have Biodiesel in 2 blends, B20 (20% biodiesel mixed with 80% normal diesel) and B100 (100% biodiesel containing no fossil diesel) the only service station in Sydney reatailing B100 at the bowser to the general public! . Biodiesel is sourced from vigin soybean oil. The main advantage of using this fuel is that we dont have to tap into our vital fossil fuel supplies which take hundreds of years to develop. 3. Dont throw your old car batteries in the bin, or even worse dump them on the street.Bring them to Franks Automotive and we will happily recycle them for you free of charge.

4. Make sure your car is running well. If you car runs well it will emit less pollutants to the environment. Make sure your car is regularly serviced as stated in your manufacturers log books and try and make a habit of checking your oil & coolant levels weekly. We are happy to check these for you.

5. If you do your own maintenance at home on your car, please don't dump the oil in the ground or drain, bring your containers of oil to us during business hours and we will recycle it for you free of charge.

6. Try and limit unecessary car trips, or even better try and have a car free day every so often.
